Still testing viewers’ Real Housewives viewing limits, Bravo has given the go ahead to a The Real Housewives of New Jersey spinoff, starring Caroline Manzo, called Manzo’d with Children. The reality soap also would feature husband Albert, children Lauren, Albie, and Chris, as well as Manzo’s sister — as well as her sister, aka Aunt Fran, who made an appearance on the mothership show with her pet pig.
Four Corners was a short-lived primetime soap opera that aired on CBS. It is notable as Ann Margret's TV series debut, and for being canceled after only two episodes. The series was produced by Dallas and Knots Landing creator David Jacobs.

Passions is a supernatural American television soap opera which aired on NBC from July 5, 1999 to September 7, 2007 and on The 101 Network from September 17, 2007 to August 7, 2008. Passions follows the lives and loves, and various romantic and paranormal adventures of the residents of Harmony. Storylines center around the interactions among members of its multi-racial core families — the African American Russells, Caucasian Cranes and Bennetts, and half-Mexican half-Irish Lopez-Fitzgeralds — as well as the supernatural including town witch Tabitha Lenox.Generally believed to be linked to the TB Show "Bewitched". Bernard Fox appeared as Dr. Bombay in two episodes of the supernatural-themed daytime soap opera Passions. This show also featured a character named Tabitha, a middle-aged witch whose parents were Samantha and a mortal, Darrin, and who names her own child "Endora."
This is a fanciful drama about life in medieval England for Sir Thomas, a widower, and his four children. Richard and Armus are stalwart young knights, but the other two children only wish they were. Cedric is in training to be a cleric as his late mother wished. Eleanor finds it difficult because of her sex, although she is as good on a horse and with a crossbow as any man. (Another son, William, left for the Crusades after the pilot episode and was barely mentioned again.)Sir Thomas has developed a relationship with Lady Elizabeth, who lives in her own castle nearby. Their other neighbor, Baron John Mullens, is continually plotting to ruin Sir Thomas and take his land.
The show centers around the Sinclairs. The Sinclairs, Grant, Josh and Eve owned the resort called Eden. Grant (Jeff Griggs) and Josh (Steve Chase) are brothers, and Eve (Barbara Alyn Woods) was married to Grant before Grant's death by boating accident. Grant's will requires Eve to remarry within two years of his death (and those two years are almost up). Staff: Randi Banks (Darcy DeMoss) is the fitness trainer, BD Thomas (Jack Armstrong) is the scuba instructor. Dean Scofield plays the character Paul Murdock. Murdock is/was the best friend of Grant Sinclair, and current friend of Eve. Scofield also appeared as Fred on the television show Archie Bunker's Place (1979-1980). Eden's Complete Series DVD outer box notes that there were 26 episodes. The DVD's contained within the box contain six long episodes (Eden 1 - Eden 6). Conceivably, the rather long Eden episodes were originally broken down into 26 episodes, but no break is obvious in the current versions.
Shortland Street is a New Zealand prime-time soap opera centering around the fictitious Shortland Street Hospital, first broadcast on Television New Zealand's TV2 on 25 May 1992. It is the country's longest-running drama and soap opera, being broadcast continuously for over 5000 episodes and 20 years, and is one of the most watched television programs in New Zealand.
The show was originally screened as five half-hour episodes each week and initially receiving mixed reviews on its premiere. After its launch it dropped in ratings and would have been cancelled if TVNZ had not ordered a year's worth of episodes in advance. By early 1993, the show's rating picked up and TVNZ renewed the production. Today, it is one of New Zealand's highest-rated shows, frequently making AGB Nielsen Media Research's top 5 programmes of the week.

Hoping to ride the crest of its success with Dallas, CBS spun off this series featuring the black sheep of the Ewing Family, Gary Ewing. Gary was a weakened reformed alcoholic who had deserted his wife Valene Ewing, and then remarried her and moved to Southern California to escape the formidable nature of life with the Ewings in Dallas. All the equals in this series lived on the same cul-de-sac in the quiet little community of Knots Landing. In addition to being neighbors, their lives intertwined in other ways. Gary worked for Sid Fairgate, owner of Knots Landing Motors, the local classic car dealership. Sid and his wife Karen Fairgate had three teenage children: Eric Fairgate, Michael Fairgate, and Diana Fairgate. The other two couples on the cul-de-sac were young recording executive Kenny Ward and his attractive wife, Ginger, and Richard and Laura Avery.

Meanwhile, Mariano realizes he has been in love with Teresa's friend Aurora, who has been in love with him since the beginning of the novela. In the end, Teresa is forgiven by Arturo but rejected by her family and friends. Mariano marries Aurora. Luisa, pregnant with Fernando's baby decides to be a single mother.

The world's first mega-soap, and one of the most popular ever produced, Dallas had it all. Beautiful women, expensive cars, and men playing Monopoly with real buildings. Famous for one of the best cliffhangers in TV history, as the world asked "Who shot J.R.?" A slow-burner to begin with, Dallas hit its stride in the 2nd season, with long storylines and expert character development. Dallas ruled the airwaves in the 1980's.
